Stop over-thinking every thing and start creating.

I’ve done tons of research about Medium. I’ve learned tips for growing, making money, and building a following. Yet, I’ve never submitted an article to a publication. I gave up before I got any momentum.

Killing ideas before they start.

Why you ask?
I’d become a professional at holding myself back.
And it shows itself as fear of rejection, self doubt, and over analyzing.

The thoughts are a rush of negativity.

Asking yourself questions like:
What will they say?
Am I good enough?
Does anybody care what I have to say?

These thoughts will drive you insane and you’ll end up not trying.

You’re probably like me. You think about things until you talk yourself out of it. Once you understand what’s happening it easy to see past these doubts.

Know your audience.

When you’re just getting started you must know your audience.
You need to realize you don’t have one yet. Yeah, you have some followers but most they’re not really paying attention.
